Don’t just work here. Belong here.
You are welcome at Spotify for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or what’s playing in your headphones.
Our platform is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all thrive, contribute, and be brilliant.
So bring us your personal experience, your perspectives, and your background. It’s in our differences that we will find the power to keep revolutionizing the way the world listens.
There’s a reason why your favorite band isn’t just five tubas playing at once. Music is global and so Spotify should be too.
Actions, not just words
We all have the best intentions, but for us, that isn’t enough. To accelerate a diverse culture, we’ve put a dedicated strategy into action. This is it.
Amplifying Black voices
We know we need to drive a better understanding of racial challenges in the workplace and their intersections, and address them head-on. Guided by insights from our established BLK employee resource group these are the ways, as a culture and a company, we’re saying no to the status quo.
It’s about equity for all
Through all of our work on belonging, we aim to reduce the barriers that prevent everyone from moving ahead and being their best. We recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach does not, in reality, create a fairer system and that different tactics are sometimes needed in order to support different groups. And that regardless of what role we do, we all play a part in creating equity for all.
Led by our band members and open to all, including our many and numerous allies, our employee resource groups elevate those voices that are under-represented in our industry or historically marginalized. They’re rhythms within our band, a place for people to share their experiences, support each other, develop leadership, and help the business better understand their needs.
